Text Drive Sales:This 1972 Bultaco Sherpa S 175 is the product of a six-year build in the style of a TSS racer by the bike’s current owner that began with the purchase of a bare Sherpa S frame in 2015. It was subsequently modified and fitted with a 175cc two-stroke single, hand-formed aluminum bodywork, a fiberglass fairing, a Betor leading-axle fork, adjustable shocks, and 18″ wire-spoke wheels with Borrani alloy rims and Heidenau tires. The bike is further equipped with a six-speed transmission, an Amal Mk II concentric carburetor, a ventilated twin leading-shoe front brake, and a low-mount expansion chamber as well as a clear windscreen, clip-on handlebars, rear-set foot controls, and a racing seat. This Sherpa S 175 race bike is now offered by the seller on behalf of its owner in California for display or off-road use only with engine build specifications, copies of period literature, a paddock stand, and a bill of sale.
