Text Drive Sales:This 1941 Buick Series 50 Super is one of 467 Model 51C Convertible Phaetons produced for the model year and is said to have been sold new from the Howard Automobile Company in Beverly Hills, California, on April 1, 1941. The car changed hands in January 1962 and would remain in the possession of that owner until their passing in 2024. It was shown at a number of concours d’elegance in the early 1960s and was later refurbished in the 1980s. Finished in Ridge Green Metallic with a tan convertible top over green leather, the car is powered by a rebuilt, overbored 248ci straight-eight linked with a three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes painted 16″ steel wheels, a push-button AM radio, and robe rope. This Series 50 Super was inherited by the current owner in 2024 and is now offered on their behalf with service records, historical correspondence, car show awards, a scrapbook documenting the car’s history, and a clean California title in the current owner’s name.
