Text Drive Sales:This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was purchased by the seller in 1978 and was modified and refurbished during a project completed in 2019. Power is provided by a 582ci V8 that was built by Shafiroff Racing Engines and features a Dart block, AFR aluminum cylinder heads, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and an MSD ignition system. The Hughes Performance TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is linked to a fabricated 9″ rear end with an Eaton Truetrac differential. The body has been refinished in yellow with a black vinyl roof, and Z28 badging has been added along with a cowl hood and front and rear spoilers. Inside, a welded roll cage surrounds black vinyl-trimmed seats, a center console, AutoMeter gauges, and a RetroSound stereo linked to a trunk-mounted amplifier and subwoofer. Chassis modifications include a rear triangulated four-link suspension, adjustable coilovers at all four corners, welded subframe connectors, and Wilwood disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors.
